About the Training

The Cabin Crew Induction course is a 4 day interactive course which addresses both the role and working life of a Flight Attendant. The training includes a combination of both theoretical and practical components with the latter taking place in our simulated Airbus A320 cabin mock-up. Using  the cabin mock-up ensures the most realistic learning conditions and ensures our students are confident and capable of delivering a first class service. There are tips and advice relating to industry grooming and interview to assist you on your journey to success.

 

Who Should Attend?

Our courses are specifically aimed at individuals wishing to gain employment as a flight attendant, those currently in industry wishing to develop new skills and those currently wishing to change career.

Where

Cabin Crew CourseAll courses are conducted at our training facility in The Carlton Hotel, Dublin Airport which includes a cabin mock-up of an Airbus A320 simulator enabling practical safety and service training to be conducted on-site.

Cost

The course fees include course manual, tea/coffee and certification on successful completion of the course.

  • 4 Day Cabin Crew Induction Course - €395.

A deposit of €95 is required to confirm your place on the course with the balance due one week prior to course commencement.
The cabin crew fee also includes an AOA uniform scarf for females or tie for males.

  • All AOA courses are FAS/DSP approved therefore if you are currently unemployed, the cost of your course may be funded. You will need to speak with your Employment Services Officer, your Social Welfare Job Facilitator or a Community Employment Scheme to apply for funding. You will be given a TESG form which must be completed by both parties i.e. Academy of Aviation and yourself before approval is given. They will decide if you qualify for funding and assist you with the process for application.

  • Passenger Handling - Customer Care & Communication Skills
  • Medical Aspects and First Aid
  • Crew Resource Management
  • On-Board Service and the importance of on-board hygiene
  • Inside hints and tips to being successful at your interviews
  • Personal Presentation
  • Presentation of industry recognised certificates


Start and finishing times of the day

The course commences each day at 9.30am and finishes at 4.00pm
